Gillian and friends launch their first online fundraiser

Our Cup O’ Kindness campaign is bringing people together to do what they can in support of families impacted by Huntington’s disease.

We thank all those who have become involved, including family member Gillian McNab, who teamed up with her craft-loving friends Yvonne, Emily and Alison after they donated handmade festive face masks and beautiful robin decorations to raise vital funds.

Their kindness led Gillian to hold her first online fundraiser! She reached out to friends and family on social media – and the items sold out so quickly that the friends were soon busy stitching and crafting to meet the demand. Inspired by their success, local businesswoman Vicki got in touch to top up the money raised with her own donation.

In just a couple of weeks, Gillian and her friends raised more than £700 for the Cup O’ Kindness appeal – what a great to the new year! Thank you!

“I’m so grateful to my lovely and very talented friends for supporting Scottish Huntington’s Association,” said Gillian.

“Together, we’re raising a Cup O’ Kindness for all families whose lives are affected by Huntington’s disease.”
