Dance 100 and our supporters go global!

Dance 100, George Square, families feeling empowered, dancers with fists in the air.
This amazing shot won first prize in the Stronger Together in the HD Community competition organised jointly by International Huntington Association and European Huntington Association.
The competition was open to organisations and family members across the world as part of the organisations’ shared Huntington’s Disease Awareness Month campaign activities.
European Huntington Association President Astri Arnesen, who sat on the judging panel, said: “This photo clearly demonstrates that we are Stronger Together and can cope together.
“Many families living with Huntington’s disease tend to isolate themselves. It shows how you fight stigma and shame and have fun together in public. A great example for all of us.”
We’ve been awarded a first prize ticket to the upcoming European Huntington Association Conference this October in Blankenberge, Belgium, for family members and professionals involved in the care and support of the Huntington’s community.
