About Gemma Powell
Gemma, who has worked for Scottish Huntington’s Association since 2015, is skilled in income generation, communications, supporter engagement, events and project support. Previous roles include an internship with Barnardo’s. While studying for a degree in Business And Management at University of Glasgow, Gemma served as President of the Save the Children Society, during which time she developed a strong commitment to the voluntary sector and charitable causes. Her expertise also includes fundraising strategy, relationship management, campaign development, and income generation, with a focus on building meaningful partnerships and sustainable support for the charity’s work.
