Fancy ten days in India with some time on the beaches of Goa? Then why not register for the SHA Rickshaw Challenge which will take place in Feb or March 2020. All you need to do is go to the fill out the form at the bottom of this page to register an interest at this stage, as the final details won’t be confirmed until we know how many supporters sign up. But here is the plan: -
Day 1: Fly to Mumbai
Day 2: Train to Goa
Day 3: Start the SHA Rickshaw Challenge
Day 4: On the road
Day 5: On the road once more
Day 6: Return to Goa
Day 7: Recover on the beach!
Day 8: Visit to an elephant sanctuary in the jungle
Day 9: Train to Mumbai
Day 10: Fly to Glasgow
So you would need ten days to take part in the event. Your travel costs, accommodation, food and activities will be provided, but in return SHA asks you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £2,500. You will need to apply for an Indian Tourist Visa, arrange your own travel insurance and have a current passport. Easy, peasy I hear you say as you’ve got 12 months to fundraise!
