Get moving this October and sign up for HD Moves. This year you can walk, run, cycle, jump anytime or any place during October.  Let’s get the biggest #TeamSHA out there, with everyone wearing their SHA T-shirts in communities all over Scotland. Together we will build on the momentum sparked by Dance 100 and raise even more awareness amongst the general public.

You're all invited!

Anyone can take part in HD Moves in 2022. All you need to do is select your challenge, invite family & friends to join you, pay your £5 registration fee per person then start fundraising as an individual or team.

Pick your CHALLENGE - Your pace, your place

We want to make it easy for you to raise funds and awareness for people impacted by Huntington’s disease, the cause YOU care about. HD Moves means no matter where you are, you can take on any challenge from walking, running, cycling, skipping, jumping on a trampoline, anything! All we ask is that you raise vital sponsorship funds, upload your photos to your social media platforms using the hashtag #TeamSHA and email a few to fundraising@hdscotland.org if you are happy for us to share.

Top tips for taking good images:

Check your background, use the highest resolution (300dpi) and pick a great back drop for your amazing photos (no bins, mess or bill boards) wear the SHA T-shirts, strike a pose and smile.

Get creative with your challenge and go for it! We are giving you the freedom to decide on a great activity for yourself and we cannot wait to see what you get up to.

We may not be with you on the day but we're with you all the way across our social channels.  Join our fundraising community on Facebook here.

You’re helping HD family members, just like Cath

“Sally, my SHA HD Specialist, is a great support. She has helped me come to terms with my new disability and not being able to continue in my nursing career, which I loved. When I needed counselling, Sally arranged it and she continues to be a great encouragement to me. We’ve also received help from SHA’s Financial Wellbeing Service.”
