SHA have found allies in English HDA and Northern Ireland HDA to conquer the Great Wall of China Trek. In April 2019 a group of volunteer fundraisers from across the UK will travel together to China to embark on a trek all to raise funds for their local HD charity. It’s the first time all three UK charities have come together to fundraise in such a way with everyone being involved having the opportunity to connect with and support each other.
Do you want to do something incredible in 2019?
Participants will be away from the UK for around 9 days, staying in various accommodations along the route and trekking for 4-7 hours per day. The challenge of taking part in this event is not be underestimated but anyone with a reasonable level of fitness should be able to manage with appropriate training in the lead up.

Costs and Fundraising
There are three payment plans for the trip as laid out below. No matter what plan you choose throughout the entire process you will be supported by the SHA Fundraising team and other fundraisers going on the trip. How to Take Part
We are partnering with Charity Challenge to run this event. Charity challenge are experts in running overseas treks in 30 different countries. They have helped charities to raise over £50 million in the past 18 years. When you are ready you can register for this trek via their website here.
